• Cloning Alarms: Alarm definitions can be cloned to standardize monitoring settings across multiple databases, streamlining the setup process.

This feature enhances the monitoring and management of Oracle databases, ensuring they perform optimally while meeting specific operational requirements.

Operations Insights Full Autonomous Database Support:

The Operations Insights Full Features collection is now available for all Autonomous Database (ADB) Types. This includes SQL Explorer and ADDM Spotlight for all ADB Serverless databases, whether they are accessible anywhere, have private endpoints, or are ACL restricted. This update provides comprehensive support for ADB users, offering a range of monitoring and diagnostic tools.

MySQL HeatWave: Read Replicas with Different Shapes, Configurations, and Versions:

In the MySQL HeatWave service, users can now take advantage of enhanced flexibility when it comes to read replicas. This feature enables users to:

• Customize Configurations: Tailor read replicas for read-only operations by using specific configurations to optimize performance and resource utilization.
• Individual Shape Changes: Change the shape of read replicas individually to select the appropriate compute resources for your workloads.
• MySQL Version Updates: Implement MySQL version updates on replicas and validate them before applying to other instances, enhancing upgrade strategies and change management.

This update allows MySQL HeatWave users to adapt their read replicas to specific needs and workloads effectively.

GoldenGate Support for IAM with Identity Domains:

Oracle GoldenGate now supports Identity Access Management (IAM) with Identity Domains. Users can add the necessary policies and create a Vault to ensure a secure and streamlined setup for new OCI GoldenGate deployments.
